User Data Deletion Instructions

Talkalize SDN. BHD. provides this page so Talkalize customers and users can request deletion of information associated with their account or business workspace.

How to submit a request

1. Send an email to [email protected].
2. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
3. Include your business or company name, the registered account email address, and the relevant WhatsApp phone number.
4. Briefly identify the account, workspace, or data you want deleted. If you want the whole Talkalize account closed, say so clearly.

Verification and processing

For security, we may need to verify your identity or account ownership before processing a request. We will review the request, confirm any necessary details, and aim to provide a response or status update within a reasonable timeframe based on the request’s scope and complexity. The timeframe may be longer where additional verification, third-party coordination, or legal review is needed.

What may be deleted

Subject to applicable law and the role of the relevant data controller, we may delete or de-identify Talkalize account and workspace information, user profile details, connected configuration, contact records, message content stored in Talkalize, templates, campaigns, automation settings, analytics records, and related service data that is no longer needed.

Information that may be retained

Some information may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, audit, or financial-record obligations, or because it is necessary to enforce an agreement or protect the service. Retained information will be handled only for the applicable purpose and for as long as reasonably necessary.

Data controlled by Meta

Talkalize does not control all data held directly by Meta or WhatsApp. If your request concerns data stored or controlled by Meta, you must also manage that data through the relevant Meta or WhatsApp account and privacy tools. A request to Talkalize does not by itself delete data held directly by Meta.
